Plot
He is wise. He is Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. In season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas.
His son David Zayas Jr
replaces his father in some photos because they look so much alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in season two, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.

Dexter creates a believable and very detailed portrait of, let’s say, a troubled sociopath
Dexter, a forensic scientist by day, a serial killer with a lynching streak by night. One of the parts of the show I enjoy the most is the emotions that ordinary people show, thus forcing Dexter to imitate them. A good laugh when the emotions that Dexter fakes become real and he is scared to death, as is his “girlfriend” Rita, a mother of two and victim of her abusive ex-boyfriend.
Emotional story, lots of details and one of the best opening sequences so far
I also liked that Jennifer Carpenter played the role of Dexter’s sister, Debra, she adds a nice touch to the show without falling into clichés.
